Julia Ain-Krupa is a writer and multi-disciplinary artist, and a Fulbright scholar. She has contributed to Cinema Editor, and is the author of the novel, The Upright Heart (New Europe Books, 2016). Her short films have been screened at the IFP festival, at the Jung Society in New York, and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her most recent film works, Dancing With Brando and Joan of Arc Dreams, were presented in conjunction with Paris fashion week, and in Lodz, Poland. In 2020, she established The Library of Memory, a writing workshop that helps to preserve and foster the narratives of vulnerable populations, such as senior citizens and refugees. She lives in New York City, and holds dual-nationality with Poland.
